Our High-Performance Junior Green Ball Tennis Program is designed for dedicated young players who have mastered the fundamentals of tennis and are looking to enhance their skills to a more competitive level. This program focuses on refining advanced techniques, improving physical conditioning, and developing tactical strategies, all while preparing players for the transition to not only regular-ball tennis but also matchplay and tournaments.

Program Overview

Focus Areas:

  • Advanced Stroke Development: Refine all basic strokes of the game with an emphasis on control, spin, consistency, and power. 

  • Footwork & Agility: Focus on quick, explosive movement, court coverage, and improving footwork patterns for better positioning and recovery.

  • Match Play & Strategy: Engage in structured match and point play, focusing on tactical awareness, point construction, and shot selection. 

  • Mental Toughness: Building mental resilience, concentration, and a competitive mindset to handle pressure, close points, and in-match challenges.

Program Goals:

  • Technical Mastery: Continue to master key technical skills, including spin generation, serve placement, shot execution and consistency. 

  • Tactical Awareness: Help players develop a deeper understanding of match strategy, including shot selection, court positioning, and exploiting opponents' weaknesses.

  • Competitive Readiness: Provide real match situations and practice under competitive conditions to prepare players for tournaments and more serious competition.

  • Mental Focus: Build mental resilience, helping players stay focused, positive, and strategic under pressure, which is crucial for high-level play.

  • Physical Preparation: Develop overall fitness, agility, and strength, giving players the endurance and quickness necessary to compete at a high level.

Our U14 High Performance Tennis Program is designed for motivated young athletes who are committed to playing competitive tournaments and dedicated to improving their game. This program focuses on developing advanced skills, refining technique, and enhancing mental and physical conditioning to prepare players for provincial and national level tournaments. With a strong emphasis on competition, mental toughness, and tactical awareness, this program is for players who are ready to push themselves to the next level in a competitive environment.

Program Overview

Focus Areas: 

  • Advanced Stroke Development: Fine-tuning all key basic strokes with an emphasis on control, spin, consistency, and power. Develop the more nuanced shots in tennis such as the backhand slice and the drop shot. 

  • Footwork and Agility: Focus on enhancing court movement, speed, reaction time, and court positioning to maximize efficiency and coverage.

  • Tactical and Strategic Play: Developing match strategies, intelligent shot selection, and adaptability to different opponents and game situations, with a focus on point construction and risk management.

  • Mental Toughness: Building mental resilience, focus, and composure under pressure, preparing players to handle the intensity of competitive matches and tournaments.

  • Fitness and Conditioning: Incorporating tennis-specific fitness drills to improve strength, endurance, agility, and injury prevention, ensuring players are physically prepared for the demands of high-level competition.

  • Competitive Match Play: Providing regular opportunities for match play in practice, tournament-style settings, and friendly competition to simulate real match conditions.

This program is ideal for players who are aiming to compete at the provincial, national, and collegiate levels, and provides a comprehensive and challenging environment to take their game to the next level.

  • Footwork and Court Coverage: Improving agility, speed, and movement patterns to enhance court coverage, positioning, and reaction time in fast-paced competitive matches.

  • Tactical Strategy: Developing a deep understanding of match strategies, such as exploiting opponents' weaknesses, constructing points, shot selection, and in-match adjustments. Emphasis on understanding when to be aggressive and when to play conservatively.

  • Mental Resilience and Focus: Building mental toughness to maintain focus during tough points, recover from mistakes, and stay composed during high-stress situations in match play and tournaments.

  • Fitness and Conditioning: Incorporating tennis-specific conditioning exercises to enhance endurance, strength, speed, and explosiveness, ensuring players are physically prepared for the demands of competitive tennis.

  • Competitive Match Play: Offering regular match play opportunities, including practice matches, tournament-style play, and match simulations, to prepare players for the mental and physical challenges of real competition.

  • Collegiate Preparation: Provide comprehensive support to our players, addressing their individual needs and offering expert guidance throughout the NCAA application process.
